The Dinosaur

I created this picture on the 7th January and completed it on the 29th for KJPB. When I look at the picture, I see this dead dinosaur, the tight rope walker, a snake or two. A gun, kites, water, a chain, a bird and a elephant among other things. I sense a lot going on in this picture but also balance and letting go of the past or issues. I love this picture, because I saw a face in it that I didn’t see when creating it.It is also shaped liked the Yin and Yang symbol. I think this is one of a very few pictures that have been nearly the same as the sketch.
I would say I will get message off of this picture in the future, so much in it.

  1. This is cool! I love the skeleton through the middle. Does this person have connections with the Middle East, or thinking about working that way? I can see the USA too - with the eagle. I like the bindweed around the skeleton. It's like a hold on something that they can't let go of perhaps? I see it as quite a serious drawing, though I think the person has a funny, prankster side maybe, with the gun firing 'boo' rather than bullets. Perhaps more of a peace keeper than a fighter in the Middle East?

  2. Once again you picked up most of what I say, interesting about the middle east and how you got America from the bird, I got America from the sky scrapers and the miss-spelt Phoenix. We both got the gun. I do know this person but am awaiting a reply and comments on the reading. Is the person male or female?

  3. I want to say that the picture is for a man - that's my gut instinct, but now I look at it I'm not sure. I can see a dark red/black rose and the leaves are heart shaped which makes it a bit softer.

  4. I love this picture it is so busy and has so much going on! I read your comments at the time and thought some were accurate while others were not, it may be worth noting I no longer recall your words directly and comment while only looking at the picture.

First of all the dinosaur with leaves speaks to me and my beliefs regarding life and death being two sides of the same thing, the Phoenix (although incorrectly spelt) has played a large part in my adult life, I have a tribal tattoo that looks kinda like fire that symbolises my rebirth ala the Phoenix that I had done when I was 18. The kites bring me to a happy memory from my childhood, it is something I will do with my children (should I have them!). Every time I look at it I notice something new!
The animals intrigue me although I feel no direct relation to them, they may represent unknown (to me) character traits I have. X=B makes me think of algebra, how everything can be related to everything else. There is a balance in the image, which also aligns with me and my beliefs in yin yang and the nature of the universe.

I get a very earthy natural feel from the image which resonates with me.

I do not understand the yellow symbol yet other than to say I like it!

Lastly thank you very much for creating this for me, I look forward to discovering more every time I look at i
